1. Ocean Spirit
Ocean Spirit, a 36 ft catamaran, commissioned Yachtport SA to do rudder upgrades and exterior repairs and detailing. The Yachport team gave her a high pressure cleaning, deck polish and a well deserved anti-fouling. She also required modifications to her rudders, a new advanced wire steering system, red pin stripes and a new aft step plus anti splash.
After this work was successfully completed, Ocean Spirit was gently launched back into the waters of Saldanha where she operates.

See Cat, a 35 ft catamaran, made her way from Gordon’s Bay to visit Yachtport SA for her routine high-pressure cleaning and anti-fouling. After 2 days our committed team re-launched her safely to make her way back to her home port.

1. Kriss
When sailing the high seas and even taking part in the Monaco to New York Race, Yacht Kriss needed a bit of extra care and attention. Kriss, a Sloop designed by Gilles Vaton, arrived at Yachtport SA late January 2011 for her routine anti fouling.
After a successful lift our team made light work of anti-fouling her 60ft hull. Kriss spent a few luxurious days moored at our facility after being re launched.
We wish her a safe journey ahead!

1. Yachtport SA receives our first aluminium racing yacht
Crossroads, an aluminium racing yacht, arrived on a cloudy afternoon in early December for a well- deserved hull clean and maintenance. After being recovered, Cross Roads was placed on our hardstand area where she will receive a brand new coat of paint as well as a thorough overall. Soon Cross Roads will be ready to race again!

1. Yachtport SA launches its second catamaran on 3 November 2010
Yachtport SA launched its second catamaran, an Admiral 40 foot day boat, for export to Namibia on Wednesday, 3 November 2010.
Arriving per road from Cape Town accompanied by Dave Bird from Admiral Yachts as well as the proud owner, Marko Jansen Van Vuuren, Yachtport SA’s Travel Lift made light work of this task and the catamaran, Silvermoon, was launched successfully.
After a few last preparations during its two night stay at our facility, the Silver Moon, was ready to sail to Walvis Bay early Friday morning, 5 November 2010.
